  This, as most of you know, is a govt institution. As a result, they answer to pretty much no one. I rented to a section 8 tenant on two different occasions, and both were bad experiences. Make sure to collect full security deposits from these tenants. This cannot be fully stressed enough!

  They accept too many slum lords! When my mother has to come sleep at my house on cold nights because hers is so cold you can see your breath, that says alot! Her home is insulated with newspaper but they wont let her move. Wth?? Gastonia housing authority is sad!

  This housing authority needs to ne re evaluated they allow familys with young children to live in homes that are torn down in every way possibly ,horrible living inviorments for not just adults but kids. They do not care for the saftey of the people that they work with . They have there own inspectors look at home and pass them knowing that they are a serious damger to live in. We have had liceneced inspectiors look at a home and said it is condemable and noone should live there with those condtions. The house was literally falling . They do not care for anyones options weather it is right or wrong . Something needs to be said . I truley belive that they just do not care!!!!

  The address listed here is wrong. It is 430 West Long Avenue. Puts a house seeker in the wrong part of town.
